Hi everyone, sorry if some of this is graphic.

I was 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and carried out the second part of a medical termination yesterday, I was given two very strong painkillers by the clinic nurse (they literally made me feel high more so than codeine does?) I don't know what they were they had tiny r's on them. I felt minimal pain when I started to cramp, I had a few twinges and that was it. I was bleeding before the pessaries though, I literally started to bleed 30 minutes before the nurse inserted them. I am just curious if anyone else has heard of this?

The nurse told me that a miscarriage was starting and that I could not go back (I knew this..) but I have only passed about 4 clots in total and they ranged from the size of a 2 pence coin to quite small. I have passed a lot of tissue like material when I've been to the toilet though.

This morning there is a slight brown discharge but not much and it does not smell horrendous or anything. Is this normal? I can only assume that there is nothing else to come? I've read that women can bleed heavily for 3 days, am I just lucky or is something wrong? I rarely have a heavy period any more and I expected a bit of a horrifying scene to be honest after taking these pills but it was if anything like a normal period but it passed in 10 hours other than 4 days?

I don't want to keep bothering the clinic (i even rang them cause my antibiotics made me feel sick) I am a bit of a worrier.

Also, why do so many women on here have awful experiences? Is the procedure different in the US? I have seen some woman say they swallow the pills?!!! Maybe this makes it worse? I don't know.

Either way I would like some advice on what to expect now, if I don't bleed much is it a bad sign etc? I do not 'feel' pregnant anymore.
Thanks
