Hi
I have been experiencing throat problems for the past couple of days now, first it started off as a dry, sore throat and I had a dry cough with it as well.
I then started to get a feeling of breathlessness, like i can't get any air into my lungs.
I did breath in a lot of second hand smoke a couple of days ago because friends of my sisters chain smoked a lot, maybe it has something to do with it.
A couple of hours later i had a tenderness on both sides of my larynx, which gets worse as i move my fingers up my throat which makes my throat sore when i touch the area and when i swallow something
It came across my mind that it might be a thyroid problem as my resting heartbeat was over 100 yesterday and stayed over 100, but the heart rate is normal now.
I haven't got a fever or anything, I was just worried about the tenderness in the throat area, could the smoke inhaltion be doing this?
Any ideas..?
