I just finished week 12 of Seasonique (first cycle for me) and will begin taking the yellow pills tonight (week 13).
For the past two mornings, I've woken up severely lightheaded, hot, and weak. I had some nausea after a car ride last night and threw up once. No other nausea, but I've had headaches lasting hours all day.

On this pill, I had breakthrough bleeding (lasting a week) after a month and a half on the pill, frequent vaginal infections, some emotional imbalance, and nausea in the mornings.
I haven't had any symptoms the past few weeks, so I'm wondering why I am experiencing sudden effects now?
Or is it possible that I'm pregnant? I took a test yesterday, negative, keep in mind I should be starting my period sometime this week.

I am 19, 5'2" and 92lbs and can be a bit of a hypochondriac and a worrier.

Has anyone had sudden onset of these symptoms during week 12? Do they seem to indicate pregnancy or just side effects of Seasonique?

YES! i'M ON week 11 and thought i was pregnant bc of headaches, pain in my stomach, breast tenderness and much more, Im thnking its the side affects from seasonique. My test came back negative as well so i wouldnt worry, take another test around your period time.

be careful with bc pill. side effects can show up at any time. i never experianced much till 2 + years on this bc pill. just read all the stories here and on a site called aphroditewomenshealth.com i am suffering through depression and anxiety due to this bc pill. been off it 10 days and not back to normal yet. not trying to scare anyone but this pill is ranked 2 worst bc pill nexy to yaz.

seasonique..pregnancy?
hello everyone! i am on my 5th week of seasonique and while it is a very attracive birth control I have found now that It may not be the best, When I was on week 2 i had sex unprotected...I know how stupid...But just recently I noticed side effects,Never ever did i have these before,I am tired all the time, Never hungry but somehow I woke up and my stomach was no longer the way it was but was firm and bigger than usual...I cry so easily,my dogs wont shut up i start crying or if my bf doesnt answer I cry which is sooo not like me. I dont know if i am pregnant or not but I have this feeling I am but who knows it may be the pills and I took a HPT and it came back negative but yet i still have breakthrough bleeding and it has lasted for 5 days...what are some other symptoms you all or someone you know has had?

The first three months I took the pill after 1 st month I started bleeding for 8 weeksl straight. Next 3 months things were great no problems little break through bleeding not bad except I did have the breast tenderness which I thought could I be pregnant because I was waking up to lee often so I started raking in morning and solved the peeing problem at night. This third pack one month in I am bleeding pretty badly. Also I could get my persciption filled right away and I waited 5 days I had the worst cramping ever. Pharmacists said because it has a high dose.of estrogen and my body was FREAKING out. Idk if its worth it but when.it works I love not having a period for three months but it does have bad side effects..
