I have had chest pains for years now and had all the tests done but they say it must be muscular pains around my heart area. I suffer a heart a murmur.

Lately I've had 2 or 3 really, really intense pains that have moved me to tears as I couldn't breathe properly nor could I move. It's hard not to panic in this situation.

Last night I woke up and felt a twinge (I'm sure although could be false as I was half asleep at the time) and then it felt like someone was spiking me with a needle through my chest and again I couldn't move and had to lie there struggling with it. Luckily I stayed calmer than before and it gradually went away and I feel back asleep.

I noticed I was soaking with sweat when I initially woke up which makes me think I was having a pretty intense dream.

These latest issues with my chest are much worse than the ones I had before.

Can anyone give me advice on how to help with it or tell me what's wrong?

You don't mention your age, gender, occupation, health history, etc and you don't tell us what kind of a heart murmur you have. You mention the "heart area" but don't define what that means. Then you add that you have had some "really intense pains" but don't say where they where, how long they lasted, what they felt like, whether they radiated, what you did to relieve them, etc.
One would need much more information to try to define your problem. It sounds to me that a good medical evaluation would be in order.
