Q: Sclera changing to white ?

Four months ago I had a nevus (brown spot) removed from the white of my eye. Over the years the spot had grown bigger and darker, and became very unappealing. Following the surgery, my eye was very, very red. Alot of the redness has faded now, however there are still surface irregularities - such as popped up blood vessels that make my eye look pink. This is very depressing for me as I no longer feel like going out anymore, in fear someone will ask whats wrong with my eye. I want nothing more than my eye to be a normal, white color. Is this possible? If so, how many months may it take for my eye to heal and break down all the redness?

Also, if i'm indeed stuck with this redness for life, would cosmetic eye whitening (performed in Korea) be a safe procedure? I've also researched cosmetic scleral lenses, would those be a good idea?

Thanks in advance to whoever responds, it really would mean alot to me!
