i would not worry about it unless the voices are telling you to hurt someone.

here is an interesting question for you - how can we distinguish between what we are thinking and what we are not thinking?

most of what is going on in our brain is only a reaction to the environment that we are immersed in. also, we live in an environment that over-exposes us to stimulation. all of this information accumulates in your brain throughout the course of the day. unless you have some sort of regiment that allows you to clear your mind,it would not be surprising to hear an entire orchestra of voices.

what we think of as our thoughts are usually merely echoes of what we heard or saw during the day. most of the time we are only absorbing and reacting to chaos, instead of truly expressing our own desires.

think about it - how many words, conversations, phone calls, videos, commercials, websites do you see / hear during the day?

the brain needs to re-organize all of this information in order to make sense of it. alot of the time this happens in our sleep or in our dreams. our subconscious continues to process the events and emotions of the day, and to us this may seem like complete non-sense.

it is possible to quiet your mind, and only once you have quieted your mind, can you make sense of what your subconscious is trying to tell you.

a good start would be to take a walk at the end of the day before bed. just relax, and allow yourself to spend a few minutes alone outside.

this helps me to clear my mind before bed.
