My brother aged 32yrs is suffereing from schizophrenia since 13 yrs. he used variety of medicines and presently since last 2yrs he is taking
I) Diva OD 500-- 1* 2(Divalproex Sodium)
II) Skizoril 50---1(Night)(Clozapine Tab)
III) Pacitane tab--- 1(Morniing)(Trihexyphenidyl Hydrochloride Tab I.P.2mg)
He got married 8 months back, but could not reproduce. His semen analysis has shown the following results:
sperm concentration (spermatozoa) 10 million per mL, motility 70%, and morphology 80% RBC- Nil WBC-Nil, Epithelial cells -few.
Please guide whether treatment is possible? what shall be the dosage of medicines being taken by him which may help in fertility ( The Doctor has stopped Pacitane tab---Trihexyphenidyl Hydrochloride, since 15 days can it incite his disease?)? Whom to consult?
