I have a theory and please I don't mean to make it sound like i want you guys and gals to panic when you read this
take it with a pinch of salt! When I have a worried thought I have analysed what happens to me physically. It's almost
as if the worried thought causes a slight headaches, which goes to my intestine area (the sensation) then it migrates
to my breathing - almost like a chain reaction. Almost like a nerve thing going on kind of realising your worried thought
in your physical body. The way i deal with this is try and forget the worried thought as soon as possible. Forget your thoughts
concerntrate on keeping calm, staying relaxed and trying to carry on with what you're doing. If you're walking, talking, or
doing something like gardening just pause for a second or two and catch your breath back. Just think to yourself, this will
pass and dont' let it spoil your day and don't go to sleep thinking about how ill your schizophrenia is making you feel.
I'm no expert so if this doesn't work for you , don't worry, trying discussing it with your gp or someone.

I think we could remedy this if we could create a devise that could be inserted under your skin on your arm, which filters out
carbon dioxide and replaces it with oxygen. This would take the emphasis off the chemical reactions in the lungs - then
all you need is a bag which can be blown up and down which would then pump the air round the body. a bit like the heart
pumps blood around the body. This should be easy to invent because if you think about it a whoopy cushion can take air
and it can pump it out quickly - why not invent a bag for the lung.

Also I think there must be consequences on the heart if your breathing rhythm goes slightly and I mean only slightly faster for a few seconds on a regular basis - surely the increased oxygen in your blood stream means all the cells are operating slowly because if you think about it more oxygen makes you sleepy, making you at increased risk of diabeties. Therefore another pressure on the heart. All schizophrenia related symptoms seem to be over function of the lungs and heart.

So come on guys and gals let's try and invent some kind of lung bag and heart pump and also an air filter for the human bodys! Dare you!
