Q: Scheduling birth control pill use
asked by: DoctorQuestion on August 25th, 2008
Today is Monday at 4AM, & I usually take my pills at 9:30 PM everyday.. I forgot to take my pills Saturday & Sunday. That means that I only missed two pills.. I'm on my third week since I'm not a Sunday starter.. I had intercourse yesterday & I'm really scared. What should I do about the pills?

You should continue taking the pills up to Sunday. On Sunday you should start a new pack. This month you may not get your regular period. You have to use additional contraception (condom) or avoid sex for the next 7 days.
