This past week im been scared of swallowing my food i feel like food is going down my throat without me swallowing such as when im eating rice exc.. iv been eating a lot less lately and im scared i might start losing weight i went to the doctor and he quickly looked thew my throat saying nothing is wrong with me i ont know why this is happening to me iv been mostly living off of soup and when i eat solid food i take long time to swallow it and drink quickly after wards also because of the hole food is coming down my throat without me swallowing i haven't been breathing on purpose from the moment i put food in my mouth tell its all gone scared that the food coming down might go threw wind pipe since it only closes when i sallow im just really scared is there anything that can help me therapist, depression pills anything this has been on my mind for the whole time. What do you guys think i should do go to doctor and tell him i think i might be having Anxiety ?

Thanks for using this forum...

Donot try to analyze your swallowing process,its best to just eat without thinking of swallowing and breathing as these are automatic reflexes and thinking will make it worse..Try to forget this or consult some psychologist with these issues...
