scared and tired

im 14 years old, turning 15 soon.
i have have some very weird weight gain over the course of the winter. I am usually a 135-140 pound girl, but my weight has cimbed up to 165 pounds. I am feeling very hopeless latley and very sad. I try to excersize and eat healthy. but i have little energy. I have missed almost 6 months of periods. I havent had my menstral cycle since the chiristmas holidays. I do not want to go see a docotor , or tell my mom. I am worried i might fall into a deeper depression

You know one of the neatest things you can do to lose weight when you are young is:

Get together with some of your close friends...Hopefully a couple have to lose weight too...Every week have a weigh in...If you want to have it every three days...Each gets to see what the other weighs..Keep track on paper..It does get results...

After I got out of high school I really did look pretty good...I was 5' 8" tall, but near 155 pounds...I worked in a big insurance company...Three of us girls got together to do this...I got down to 130 pounds and I never looked back..Needless to say I won...I think I won $25.00...It was yah hah time for me...I never dieted real strenuous...I just kept my calories between 1200 and 1400 per day...Ate whatever I wanted to, but limited it to this...When I did this I was 18 years old...

If you get bored and your diet does not work, consider this...It is fun and you have the biggest incentive to beat the other girl....

Good luck,
Caroline
