Q: Scar tissue preventing conception ?

i had a leep procedure done quite a few years ago. i have been married for 6 years and have not conceived. the dr. said it could be possible scar tissue preventing sperm from doing there job. is there hope for resolving this problem so i can get
pregnant. what would be the next thing for me to do. i just want to know what stats are on this problem and if it can be resolved. can surgery fix the problem.
i would appreciate it if you can give me information on this so i can be knowledgable on this problem.
