had them!!!
I had these many years ago and it was the most humiliating thing I've ever experienced. I began to itch in my pubic area and one day I looked and I saw something so tiny, but when I pulled it out it was a tiny bug. It creeps me out to recall this! Anyways, I was involved in a long-term r/ship with a guy and found out he gave these to me. He had stepped out on me. Please know we are both very respected and clean people!
I had to go to the dr. and get a cream to get rid of them. You will begin to itch terribly and if you look closely you'll be able to see them. HOpe this helps!

Scabies CAN be transmitted via skin to skin exposure. At first, there will be no symptoms. If the person exposed does contract them, about a week later, they will notice lines in their skin that resemble scratches. These are where the mites have burrowed under the skin. Scabies is easily treatable. Contact your doctor if you feel you have scabies. To sjgarrett, it is more likely that you had pubic lice, as they do not burrow under the skin like scabies mites, thus you could see them. Scabies mites are pretty much never seen unless by a dermatologist with a microscope and the skin taken from a skin scraping test. That is often how scabies is diagnosed. Scabies and genital lice, along with headlice are all part of the body louse group.
