Saw my midwife yesterday.. Posted: 05-02-08 08:56am
I had my booking in appointment &
everything went great. My midwife is such
a nice lady.. I'm really glad about that.
I didn't discuss home birth with her
because she had so much to get through
& I didn't get much time to ask
questions, so I'll mention it at my next
appointment when things aren't so rushed.
She said that because Jenny was IUGR, I'm
going to be referred to a doctor at the
hospital at about 20 weeks &
apparently I'll get more scans than
normal. I love having ultrasound scans, so
I'm not complaining!
The doctors called me earlier today.. they
had the results from my bloodwork already!
My iron is low so I need to pick up some
tablets later today. No wonder I've been
so tired lately.. I literally can't get up
in the morning. Hopefully the iron tablets
will help!
The hospital is sending me a letter
confirming when my dating scan is, so
hopefully I won't have too long to wait
for that. I can't believe I'm already 11
weeks tomorrow!

Watch out for constipation with the iron
tablets, they should make you feel better
(less tired) soon.
Wow, almost 11 weeks already? No way!

Ooh the more ultrasounds the better!
Glad you like your midwife, it's horrible
when you get a snooty one who doesn't seem
to care. It can put you on edge.
