Q: Safe after 2 weeks on pill ?

Okay i started Yaz the sunday after my period started. And i was told you had to use a back up birth control for a week. So a week passed, and on monday (the 8th day) my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex, and he didnt pull out. Iv been on the pill for two weeks now....am i safe?

According to your pill packet--yes. You should be protected 7 days after you begin the pill. Some doctors, however, recommend letting your body adjust to the new pills for at least a month before having unprotected sex. But, I have never seen any clinical data proving that you must do this.
Just don't forget to take a pill every day, and you will be protected.
