Hello, I'm a freshmen in highschool and this is my first year ever running track.. My coaches say I am good. My 800 time is 2:27 and my 400 time is 62. but I recently have a lower back pain, and I guess a deep butt pain. It hurts when I try to make a stride or try running. I have champs coming up next week to! so I cant really rest! But It hurts pretty bad , but only when I go to run I walk and jog with no pain? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Sorry, Just now getting to some of the un-answered posts. My suggestion to you would be to see an othorpedist ASAP and don't over do on anything untill you talk to a specialist.
