i have a rotten tooth at the back right when i look at it its black and there is just half the tooth the rest is gone i can move it slightly from side to side and it hurts like hell ive just finished a course of anti biotics to see if that would help and it has a bit but now its hurting again i also have a funny taste in my mouth that i cant seem to get rid of do you know what this could be im too afraid to go to a dentist and i dont know what i can do any help would be helpful thanks

Hey i have the same but mine is on my left.....I went to have it out at the emergency dentist,but they told me i had an abscess inside the rotten tooth...I had to take 4 different antibiotics then the pain went away....I haven't had any pain as of yet (thank god!)but am sure it will return because i can't even move mine...Try using mouthwash and swill it around your infected tooth it works for me Jenny

hey thanks for the reply but i cant seem to find a dentist near me that are taking on any nhs patients also ive been using oraldene for a while now and it helped abit but the pain is still there also this taste in my mouth is mad its like im chewing on gloves or something like that when i eat the taste goes but when im not eating its there any suggestions

Not really i have that taste to!....I think it is the taste of rotten tooth...Ewwww sorry that was horrible.....but i think it is i just keep brushing my teeth when I'm at home....and chewing gum when I'm at work that stops it tasting so bad...Jenny
