I have a lower back th that has a filling that has fallen out months ago and it seems to be rotting away. The tooth has "decayed", I suppose, at the gumline. I have to take Oxycontin and Lyrica for my spine so It isnt hurting, BUT I have a weird taste in my mouth. Could this be causing bad breath?

A rotten tooth can definitely cause bad breath and you should see a dentist to have it pulled asap before there is more than just tooth decay.
