root canal procedure and swollen lump on face after

I had a root canal about a month ago. After the procedure I began to notice that there was a terrible smell and a very vaulger tast in my mouth. I blew my nose several times hopeing this would help. It didnt. When I blew my nose there was a brown, gray fluid that drained from my nasle uncontrollably. It was runny not a mucus and the smell and tast that was left in my mouth was horrid. As of today the lump is back, it is putting pressure on my upper gums where I had my root canal. help me please.
