Q: Ritalin and girlfriend

I am curious if anyone after taking ritalin had the inability to experience emotions? The fact that ritalin's purpose is to able a person to focus, however maybe too much to the point where feelings for a loved one might suddenly change. Can ritalin effect a relationship?

I was in an addiction treatment center and one of the women who I got to know was addicted to Ritalin and it affected EVERYTHING IN HER LIFE, including relationships and work. However, emotions and feelings for someone can also change over time.

Do you think that your girlfriend wants to break up with you?

I have the same problem, my love of my life soulmate and everything got on ritalin for a couple of weeks and broke up with me.. after 5 years of being together happy and all. No deep reasoning.. just wanted to. I am so lost.
