Q: Risky encounter

Few days ago I had protected sex with a Commercial Sex Worker , but while doing this I forgot that I had cut on the skin of my testicles or scrotum (whatever it is called) which wasn't covered by the condom. This cut was a day or two old and the scabbing had come off. When I spread it I was able see the red/pink skin , though there was no blood coming out . This was located in between the folds of the skin.

The whole act (intercourse) probably lasted for 5 mins max ..

What are my chances of getting infected with HIV or any other STDs ?

My concern is the cut , I'm not sure if it came in contact with any vaginal fluids. If it did then I might be at risk ...correct ?

Chances are slim but get a complete STD/HIV test...otherwise you are going to keep thinking about this..get tested so you can forget about it.

Thanks Homerx . I do plan on getting tested soon . When you say "chances are slim" , how slim are they ? ..Is it possible to translate it into numbers ? as in 10% or 5% ..etc...

I tried googling but couldn't find anyone in my situtation ..

I really cant give you a number...sorry.But unless you get tested you wont know.HIV can remain undetected without a blood test or mouth swab for over a decade before you get any symptoms what so ever..so get tested and put your mind at ease.
