About 7 months ago i had unprotected sex with filipino woman in a massage parlor. It lasted less than a minute and i came in her by mistake ( but she is not pregnant or anything i talked to her a few weeks ago), after sex i took a shower with hot water and plenty of soap, i am circumcised i heard that helps? The woman had 2 HIV negative blood tests, one was 1.5 months before the exposure and the other was about 3-4 weeks after exposure, they both came out negative. i had a runny nose about 1 week after this possible exposure , is this a symptom? i also went to see a doctor at 3 months and 4 months, they both said i did not "need" and HIV test and just gave me a CBC and some other non hiv related tests, they said that i was perfectly healthy...but i don't believe because the blood test at the 3rd month had an elevated WBC (13.1) PLZ PLZ PLZ ...am i at very deep risk??? P.S. i have no STD`s and to my knowledge Dubai has 1/4600 case of hiv. one of the lowest on earth

What has Dubai got to do with it? Just kidding Very Happy

About her test, you are supposed to be looking at two negative tests taken three months apart. Remember that for future endeavours. One needs to wait three months from exposure, do a blood test, wait three months and test again.

For you, it has been seven months, one test is enough as long as you have not exposed yourself to risk since then. Go for a HIV test. Your doctor obviously thinks he can tell mbae looking if one has HIV or not. That is ignorance. There are places that test anonymously. If you look hard enough you will find someone who will test you leave a lone the doctor. What a shame.

You say the sex lasted less than a minute. Maybe there wasn't enough time for friction during sex to make little cuts and tears to cause transmission.

About the circumcision, there is no fore skin going back and forth and causing an avenue to the blood stream. That doesn't mean that circumcised men are immune to HIV.

About the WBC, I have no clue.

There really are no specific symptoms to HIV. Runny nose maybe caused mbae anything.

Get tested, it is the only way to clear your mind.

Do you live in Dubai? No matter where you live, use protection, PLZ!

Always

You will feel confident about sex again. Sorry you had such a stressful time.

I come from Kenya. Don't worry too much and thanks for finding your way here. I am in Canada right now. Not so hot.

Later dude. All the best.

Hi Nadman, I also had a same kind of experience like you few days back. I went for massage and finally ended up with this same, but it was protected one. After 4 days a got diarrohea and other symtpoms like weakness. I dont know where can we go for HIV test in Dubai. If you know kindly tell me as I want to have one. And even i am scared of sex now after all this stressful time I had.
