hello,
for about 4 years my mom has been suffering from very loud ringing in the ears. Her nose feels as if it is constantly stuffed up, there is a feeling of pressure/numbness inside her nasal cavity. It also effects her taste buds, often things taste very strange. She experiences intense fatigue as well and can never ever stay up late anymore. She has seen more specialists than i can count, tried more medications than i ever thought possible, but the ringing in her ear just will not stop. (all of the symptoms have remained, and have often made life pretty miserable for her). please if you know anything that might help, let me know! we know her illness has something to do with nerve damage, but we haven't found any concrete answers. i hate seeing her give up hope. We live near toronto, and right now it looks like surgery is the only thing she hasn't tried.

What are the possible diagnoses the specialists have come up with? What's the state of your mother's sinus cavity?
