On Feb.26,2009. I was getting a headache so I took a midrin, which I have taken them a couple of times before, they worked. Well, a hour later my left ear started ringing and has never stopped.I have been to at least 6 doctors who all say that they think it is a viral ear infection. Been on steroids, antibiotics, medicine for dizziness, valuim, nerve pills. I finally make it to a ent dr yesterday, 4-14-09, and he doesnt see anything. He decides to give me nasal spray and steroids (already taken before) to see if they help. I cried all the way home. I just knew that the ent dr would know what was wrong and fix it for me. I did have surgery on my brain Sept 2006, and that was the first thing that was ruled out. Had 2 cat scans, so i am pretty confident its not my brain. I take elevil 50 mg for about 6 years now for opthamalic migranes. Well with this ringing, i couldnt take them because the ringing got louder. After a month of not taking these, my eyes started messing up again so I had to start taking the elevil again, 25 mgs. Iam so sick of feeling sick and depressed. I feel like it has somethng to do with my ears and sinuses. I have pains in my ears sometimes and my sinuses hurt. But, I dont know, i feel hopeless. Can anyone give me advice? I am all cried out.
