My mom is forcing me to an abortion because she "knows" i will not be able to give the baby up for adoption. isn.t there any sort of law that says i can override my mom's decision and go with what i want? btw, i live in utah, if that helps any.

It might be worth looking online or speaking to a school nurse or something who should be able to give you some help.

At the end of the day it's not your mums decsion about the abortion. It's your body and your baby not hers.

If you dont' want an abortion then don't let your mum make you. There are teens on here that have had abortions to please other people and found they regretted it and it wasn't the right choice for them.

If you want to keep it then keep it. You have to decide what's best for you and your baby and not let other push you into anything you don't want.

In most states, the decision to give up a child for adoption belongs to the mother and/or father regardless of age. There may be exceptions to this depending on the circumstances. To read specific information regarding Utah law, try Googling Utah teen parental rights. There are public agencies & private organizations that provide services to teen parents, including housing and medical care if needed. You might also speak with a family or juvenile law attorney. He or she would know whats available in your area. Many lawyers provide free consultations for 30 minutes or so, just enough time to explain the situation and obtain some resources. Take care.

there is no way your mum can decide for you!
do what you want to do because if you go with what she wants then you'll regret it later on in life, also why kill another human? something so small and fragile? you will regret it for the rest of your life.. the baby is something you created and if you didnt want it to happen then you would have been more careful dont destroy something that was your fault.. also abortions can limit the chances of you being able to have another baby!

if your old enough to have sex then your old enough to look after a baby.

being the mother of the child I think you have the right to decide with regards your conceiving condition. Though your mother want you to have an abortion still it is your decision should come first.

it depends on what state your in and your age. if your 15 your parents can make you get an aboration. but if your 16 and up there isnt anything they can do about it. i got pregnant with a 22 year old when i was 16 and my parents tryed to put him in jail and make me get an aboration. but the cop said that i was of age and can make the decisons i want. thats in the state of ohio tho.
