Q: Right time for safe sex ?

Hello,my doctor told me to use orthotricyclen..but i don't know when to start taking it..am i going to start on the first day of my monthly period?..and when is the safe time to have sex with my husband after taking it?..please somebody help me.. Rolling Eyes

Well, the directions should give you some insight on when to start.

No matter when you decide to start, I'd wait a week of correctly taking pills so you know you're protected.

Use condoms until then and you'll be fine.

so after the week is it safe to have un protected sex...? n do you still have to use the pull out method...?

One week of taking pills as directed, but you have to continue to take your pills correctly.

You certainly can continue to use the pull out method if you'd like. Its the only time the pull out method is effective anyways-- when paired with birth control. Wink
