I was snowboarding on monday and fell on my knees pretty bad I had to stop, after a while my left knee got swollen and could barely walk. my right knee was a tiny bit swollen but its fine know. My left knee still hurts though only when i try to bend it, i can only bend it so far but i cant bend it all the way because of the pain it causes. today seemed like it got a tiny bit better but im wondering if I should go see a doctor or just wait a little more? Does it sound serious or just a swollen knee that will go away on its own

the way i fell was face first then knees second was straight on the ice. the stance on the board was wide so thats why I hurt the inside of the knees

when I say i got a little better, its that i have a little more movement, at first i could not bend it at all, now i can enough to not limp as much

the thing is that its been almost a week an i have not seen major improvement I called today to make an appoinment with my doctor but offices are closed until tomorrow...
what could this injury be?
