hi..I m a 19 year old teen.female.
My problem is i can't write holding a pen.I feel like someone pushes my thumb finger backwards.Even I can't lift a little heavy thing. It is very painful to me.It started when I was 16.But at the early stage I used to take painkillers. It worked. But nowadays the pain spreads over my back.I can hardly write.I consult so many doctors. But it was not fruitful.I even consult with a physiotherapist. But it was not not work so much. Some docs advise me to take steroids.
Can it be cured???
what should I do???
Plz HELP me out.
hi....im no doc but ive had so much trouble with my spine i've learned a little bit bout muscle/nerve troubles from the spine. if you have a pinched nerve at the C6 level verttebrae of the spine it affects the thumb, index finger and upper back.
what you need to do is contact a neurosurgeon who specializes on the spine. he/she will test your symptoms and order the necessary tests to figure out whats causing the pressure. regular drs dont really have experience with this condition.....pete
