Hi – My left and right hips both have a torn labrum. I am scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on my right hip in June, but just found out my left is torn too. I have yet to see my surgeon yet, but does anyone know if he can do both at the same time? I was thinking it makes sense because most of the surgical time is prep time, so it makes sense. But this may not be possible due to my recovery and how hard it will be to have both hips out of commission. Anyone have any thoughts?
THX in advance.

I am not sure of the recovery time for this type of surgery, but I would hesitate doing this unless the Orthopedist agrees and you have a home full of help to assist you during your recover....Take care...
