Wow, what a wonderful son to do what you have done for your mom.

I'm sure that the massages are helping to ease some of her pain.

On the other hand, how was your mother diagnosed with a dislocated disc?

I understand your mother's fear of going to doctors, but there really isn't anything you can do to help your mother with her back, other than encourage her to seek medical care, diagnosis and treatment plan with a spine surgeon.

She really needs to see either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines only.

Once she has been evaluated and properly diagnosed, then a treatment plan can be put together for her to help ease her back pain.

Don't be afraid and think that spine surgeons are used only for spine surgery.

It is spine surgeons that are the specialists in spines and diagnose and treat spine problems.
Surgery is the last resort and there are many conservative treatments that may be able to help your mother that do not entail surgery.

But, without a spine specialists diagnosis and treatment plan, there is nothing more that you can do to help her, other than try and make her see that she needs to see a spine surgeon.

Good luck
