im assuming you mean rh negative, my
sister has that, at 28 weeks you have to
get the rogham shot, i dont think there is
anything else you need to worry about
other then to make sure you get that shot
around 28 weeks!

I had to have the Rhogam shot twice for
each of my pregnancies.
Both of my children have positive blood,
so I had to get it AFTER they were born
too.
Just to let you know, the needle is HUGE,
and it's a serum, so it's THICK and
BURRRNS! Jesus!
Another reason I'm not having more kids
for a few years...so I can foget!! LOL!
haha way to scare someone sarah j/k, i
dont htink it is too bad but eh i havent
had the shot my sister did. She also had
to get it after her kids were born, ah and
she gets to do it in 2 mths here again she
is around 20 wks pregnant now! Shes
supposed to find out the sex of her baby
today . usually they do it around 28 weeks
the shot give or take a week or 2, i know
with her son she was moving around and in
diff states.
If you dont get the shot , it can harm you
and/or the baby because your body will try
and attack the baby if they are posotive
and u are rh negative.

I'm Rh negative, so I had to have the
Rhogam shot at 28 weeks. My daughter must
be negative as well, because I didn't need
another one after she was born (although I
was never told what blood type she is??).
However, I don't remember it hurting like
Sarah described!!!

Oh man, maybe it was just the nurse...cuz
DAMN!!
Oni is A+, and Nya is O+. I'm A-, and
Baron is O+.
When the nurse came in with the shot I
started SHAKING!!!! She reminded me that I
just pushed her out with NO meds, that the
needle is NOTHING!!
I told her to put it in HER butt then!
LOL!
EEEK! ONE day, I'll have a baby with (-)
blood!! ::crosses fingers::!!

I don't remember it hurting much... Just
my leg kinda went numb, but I think that
was just my mind. But yes, it is a serum,
so it hurts a little worse than a liquid
shot (flu shot perfect example)
But yes, if the baby has + blood (they do
tests), they will give you another
wonderful shot within 24? hours after
delivery.
BTW I'm O-, so if you get a blood
transfusion without them knowing your
blood type, it's mine you get Which makes me want
to give blood all the more...
