I'm new to this forum and was reading some questions & replies on RFA. I am having this procedure done next week. Would like to get some input on your experiences with it. So far, 2 people I've talked to have had no relief. I trust my doctor but would really like to know from people who have had this done.

Thanks in advance,

You must be aware that facet joint RF ablation is more diagnostic then therapeutic method.

So do you now know why it had no effect on some people?

Actually, no I didn''t know it was more diagnostic. I was told they burn the myelin sheath off the nerve and that prevents it from conducting pain to the brain. Have you had this procedure?
