What is the most rewarding part of caregiving?

I find that having the love of my clients is the best. walking back into the house and having one of my guys say that he missed me and ask where i was makes it all worth it. This to me is not a job. this is my life--those guys are my family--the brothers that i never had. I wouldnt give them up for anything

I understand English but I'm not sure about the word "caregiver", is it an actual employing job or just the fact that you... take care ?

oh I see I see. I'm not really a caregiver then. I'm rather a protector.

usually when I go out with (girl)friends to a club I always keep an eye on the guys approaching them. I'm a protector by nature but I prefer not to show it too much.
If I see it's a nice or clean guy, ie not sticky I leave them alone because he's not going to annoy her. But if I see that a guy is being too annoying with her, I approach (harshly enough to make my point) and scare him. Then he kinda moonwalks away pretending he's still dancing and he was just there by accident.

That's the funniest actually, when the guy pretends he wasn't trying to flirt, while he was, half a minute ago.
You know the weird elastic/snake moves a guy can make to look smooth while asking pointless questions she barely hears and trying to get close like if they were in complete fusion... while she actually tried to escape all the time.
Apparently I judge fairly well, because my interventions were always thanked. The best comment I had is "I feel completely safe when you are there." then made me a big kiss on the cheek Very Happy

God's Miracle
I have been an R.N. for the past 22 years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. This has been the most rewarding career ever. Watching a neonate born at 22-23 weeks gestation and watching him/her grow and develop is truly a Gift from God!
When born the infant's eyes are fused, their is no cartilage in the ears and instead of cries, they sound like a small kitten. There is no fat under their skin, they are just wrinkled little beings. Caring for them until they go home is so rewarding. Watching their eyes open and their bodies develop is truly wonderful. We are seeing the miracle that could not be seen until the wonders of medicine. If you do not believe in a higher being, I suggest you visit a Neonatal nursery and watch the development of a 13-14 ounce wrinkled neonate turn into a beautiful baby.

the part i love about care giving
i left this job where i was making an easy 1,000 dollars a week to be a caregiver, (im only making like 500 a month now). But its much worth it... take my one patient for example, this guy fought in WWII and hes still loves a laugh... he told me the other day when i gave him a hug that he hasnt had a hug in a while...

But when it boils down to it the most rewarding part of this job is the fact that, your helping people because you truley care, and even though patients die on you, atleast you know you made life a little better for them before they left this world....

i just recently became a caregiver(last summer) and i enjoy it, i have a regular client that i've been working for since i started he's an elderly man, loves to tell stories..its just nice to be able to help someone when they aren't capable of doing things on their own, i enjoy being able to assist him and it really makes me look forward to my career in nursing in the future!
