I have just had an X-Ray report of my neck...And "reversal of lordosis" is what was written...
1 year ago I was suffering from a dizzy spell (had them for 7 years on and of and in the past they came on when i looked upward or slept at my girlfriends house((differnt bed))...anyway during this dizzy spell which was unlike the past ones in that it was continuous and not just when looking upward...I went for a walk of about 3 miles ,a new hobby as i had not had much exercise for 6 months...After my walk on getting into my car ,the head movement gave me the worst head ache i have ever had...The pain was so bad i nearly pulled my car over as i was struggerling to drive and cope with the pain...The pain was relieved slightly by making a noise?...Agrrr noise seemed to help somehow , and i did have a pain in the deep back throat area that seemed somehow connected to the intense pain i had in my head...I did manage to get myself home and fully dressed laid down and immediatly slept for 3 hours...awoke feeling ok ,the second i raised my head from the pillow the pain came back.

This head ache lasted for 9 months and increased when bending over , during these 9 months i have had
slight blurred vision
After walking 2-3 miles which is a struggle with i ache for a week after ...pain is worse 2 days after the exercise.
I get heavy arms and legs from doing anything phisicle.
After doing a piece of artwork that took 2 hours i was mentaly and physicle drained.
For 9 months the only way i could feel ok was to do nothing.when sitting i do feel my best...arm ache to type or use mouse tho.
Had neck pains stiffness and cracking heard like never before...on one occasion extreme pain in shoulder and neck, had trouble getting my chin down to my chest...10 days that lasted.
The worst symptom i have had is one morning for 3 hours my legs just could not work properly...i could walk but in no way in a normal manner and it was not painful or tight muscles...it was something i could not correct no matter how i tried ...3 hours later i regained control, still had heavy legs and drag my feet .On the one occasion it was for 3 hours but on about 6 others it has been 30mins to an hour first thing in the mornings and usually 2 days after exercise (walking in hilly enviroment).
Near enough one year on and i do feel like i am getting better...i said this 5 months ago tho...
Have been diagnosed as having CFS...The same doctor saw the X-Ray report saying reversal of lordosis and has been told of my symptoms in the past but told me my X-Ray is OK.

To me from what i can read on-line my X-Ray results show that Lordosis is linked to my symptoms...?

My Doctor said its OK...But I am sure you will all agree it`s not as Lordosis left when causing such symptoms can lead to paralysis.

...and 3 months after a very mild headache can come and go

Update...Numb pins and needles in hands, blurred vision and very heavey legs have come back...all from sitting next to someone and talking to them for 2 hours, sounds strange but i rarely relax with another person and on this occasion like once before, i was sitting beside someone both facing forward and turning our heads to talk to one another...I notice that if i keep my neck turned to the right my eyes get instantly tired where i almost have to close them , last only 3 seconds or so...then after a few hours and on getting up my dizzyness / lightheadedness came on...next days heavey legs ,blurry vision and hands slightly numb and slight stiffness in neck.
Had really heavy left leg and arm ,more so than ever before...5 days after the rare socialising event that bought back on my symptoms i am feeling a little better, but have not done anything since.
I have an ultra sound comeing up for my thyroid gland on 4th july...Is this a waist of time and should i be having an MRI scan instead??

Most recent blood tests...low testostaroin but no action needed according to my GP.
With new symptoms and reminding of old...still forgot to say about few new ones...I have now been refered to a Musculoskeletel unit...Bone people in my book...keep your fingers crossed for me people who are reading this (please)...the answers to my problems may be found,if these bone people do MRI`s....sick of telling it,i need pictures to show it.

Update...(why i bother i dont know...maybe someone out there will benerfit from my ordeal if there symtoms are the same?)
Had Ultra sound and all OK, Radioligist said i need an MRI tho after hearing a few of my symptoms and will put a note for my GP.
Also realised my one testostaroin test was done PM,AM is the time best to see true level...and multiple tests are needed. As mine was PM and still low i guess its really low AM.
I now suspect (well did say to GP 9 months ago) that I have Cervical Stenosis with Myelopathy.
My appointment at the musculerskeletal place is on the 23rd july...hopefully my myelopathy will not get worse by then as it is getting worse on weekly basis now.
I hope I am wrong,I hope the doc`s are right and its just CFS ...but if i am right ,to have to self diagnose after a year of being messed about by the NHS...to suffer needlessly...I am not happy...I just hope i will be apolagising for my comments about my treatment soon and not be handicaped for life due to incompetant doctors.
Will let you all know.

Musculerskeletal Doc said a neuroligist is what i need based on my symptoms...but even tho i passed near on all of her tests other than perfect finger coardination on one task , she has refferd me for an MRI scan on my neck,thankfully...this should hopefully end the diagnostic process and many people including the NHS can learn from this case, some how Smile

I am on the CFS thread if anyones inetrested ...

MRI Scan of the Cervical Spine
The report is in my hands...Kiss CFS BS goodbye...The patients self diagnosis is correct, the So called proffesionals are wrong, 4 of them in total...The NHS is great,Not....MRI Report reads as...
There is evidence of a large posterior left paracentral disc herniation at C^-C& level compressing the thecal sac, causing significant left lateral canal stenosis. The central canal is fairly well preserved. No cord compression. No other significant disc herniations.Minor spondylotic changes are noted elsewhere.blablabla
Conclusion: Left posterior paracentral disc herniation at C6-C7 with lateral canal compromise.
Suggest referral to neurosurgical team for opinion and management.

Yeah...thats for real...CFS? What were they thinking? Basicly to those that dont get the medical jargon above..it means I am prob gonna end up disabled or be unusualy lucky with surgery...I have to guess this outcome ,but as I have guessed correct for 9 months about my condition I guess I could be right now.

Dont take CFS as an aswer when you know different, your life, your mobility could be at stake if you sit back and let them tell you different to what you know...It has taken me over a year of not excepting what I was told and demanding more, even had to exagerate more recently in order to get where i am now.
Been made to think I may have cancer,MS and motor neuron diesies as I knew it was not CFS.

I hope my ill treatment is not so common...but with what I know,I worry .
