I was diagnosed with HPV and was also told I had moderately severe abnormalities on my cervix, so I had the LEEP procedure done, which wasn't so bad, so those of you reading this waiting for an upcoming LEEP, I had it done in the hospital, where they put you out for it. I would definitely recommend it to getting it done in office. It's nothing at all, and I had no pain or problems afterward that weren't expected (the bleeding and extra stuff from the surgery). Anyway, I got my results back today, my obgyn said my abnormalities from my biopsy were severe and that i would need to go back every 3 months for a pap. I wasn't told margins or CIN ( have no clue what these are, just from what I've seen posted)just that she's worried. My mind goes blank whenever I'm at the doc's but I want to know more. She showed me a drawing of my cervix and where my abnormalities are, then showed that they got rid of that, but there were some outside of the margins that they couldn't get, but she said since they were burned, they should be gone, so what should I expect? Are they gone? Can these abnormalities come back? She said I was one step away from cancer, but wouldnt this get rid of that happening? I'm clueless, anyone with answers would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks...Nicole
