Q: Restoring tooth enamel?

I drink *a lot* of diet sodas, and have become very concerned with the health of my teeth. They're healthy otherwise, no cavities, etc. But the other day I shone a light on my teeth, and it seems my two front teeth have a few small lines, or, I hate to say it, cracks on them. They begin at the gum, but don't go all the way down through the tooth. I've worried this has to do with drinking all the sugary drinks, which I've promptly stopped drinking.

I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to restore tooth enamel. Are there products that I can buy at the drug store? I'm in high school, and I'd really like to avoid a costly cosmetic procedure.

Also, should I switch toothpastes? I use Ultrabrite right now, which I've heard is the most abrasive, and not the best for improving tooth enamel. Should I switch to Colgate Total (which has fluoride)?

Thank you!
