Surprisingly my period started on 5/15. This was at the end of the week that I am supposed to leave the ring out. The directions say to put the ring back on after 5 days no matter if i'm bleeding or not, so I put it back in. My period seems to be ending now on 5/19 or 5/20. Do I need to take it out and leave it out until I have another period and just put the new ring in the Sunday after my next period? If not will the ring eventually program my body to menstruate once the ring is taken out? Should I keep up with the Nuva Rings schedule so that my body can catch up or should I put in the ring based on what my body does. It seems like my period is a week off now......really confusing
