Risperidone is in a class of medications called atypical anti-psychotics. It works by changing the activity of certain natural substances in the brain. Risperidone is used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia, mania, and behavioral conditions. However, this medication may be prescribed for other uses ... ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Have you been prescribed Risperidone?

The meds do to him what they did to me. I have anger issues, ect. I was on anti-depressants, ect. All the meds due is suppress feelings, ect. They don't help situations and they don't let you be assertive. I don't like drugs. They don't solve your problems. Only actions do.

I use to be on that drug, it was perscribed for my Bipolar. I started lactating on the medication, and since stopping I still lactate 3 years after getting that drug out of my system. Now I am on Geodone.
