Q: Residual Scarring on right upper quadrant

Hi! I had a chest xray and the results indicate that I have Residual Scarring on my right lung upper quadrant. what could this mean? would this affect my health? what intervention should I do to stop the spread of this disease? pls help...i need a response..thanks

Did they mention it could be from an old pneumonia? I have pulmonary scars and nodules. If you smoke you know you should quit. You didn't say whether you have emphysema. There are inhalers that help with that. Don't be afraid to ask your doctor what it is.
