Good day Doc. with this residual fibrosis, the result of my x-ray says that i have a scar on my left lobe so am asking if you could reccomend on what to do in caring for it..i used to smoke..tnx

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

The prognosis of the lung scar, usually depends on the cause of the scarring as well as the extent of involvement of the lungs.

Once a lung scar has formed, over time it heals without any consequences.

Since you are young, there is no need for any other specific interventions or treatment measures. Your lung will heal on its own and return to full functionality.
