I experienced a tramatic event when I was assualted in '02. Whenever I think about the permanent injury to my brain I gete very upset. It's not exactly a feeling of anger, but it's very stressful. I feel like I am screwed, but thanks to the actions of someone else.

What is it called?

Well, if the same thoughts trigger the same emotion, that is called resentment. It's from the French words:

RE --- to do again
SENTIR --- to feel

So you feel the same emotion again and again based on the thoughts. I'm sorry to hear about the assault and the damage to your brain. Has anything good or positive come from the experience?

Marc. First of all, The beauty of the brain is that the brain can adapt to damage and reroute functions and even memories to healthy parts of the brain. It may not be easy but it is possible.

So, there's really no practical benefit to being upset. Just go out and get revenge. And the best revenge is living a full beautiful life.

PS... dont ever blame anyone else for anything. Casting Responsibility = Disempowering yourself.
