repeated miscarriages and the report....

User Profile
I have cervix short and miscarriage/abortion happend twice. In my second pregnancy I have taken complete bed rest from 2nd month and in 4th month first week i have gone to the Surgery "Cervical Stitches" but after 20 days of my surgery i got back pain and on 21st day abortion.
After that i have taken the torch test which is showing
Rubella IgG-82.64IU/ML
Rubella IgM- 0.21 Index Value
Cytomegalovirus IgG 21.00 IU/mL
Cytomegalo Virus IgM 0.52 Index Value
HSV 1 IgG 6.62 Index Value
HSV 1 IgM 0.25 Index Value
HSV 2 IgG 1.10 Index Value
HSV 2 IgM 0.38 Index Value

is that i am getting repeated abortions because of the Torch report incompliance or because of cervix loose? what treatement i have to take so that i can save my baby in the next pergnancy? i am still very disappointed.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The cause for having repeated miscarriage can be both your TORCH infection status and short cervix. Postpone your pregnancy plans for some time. Get treated for the infections detected. Be in regular follow-up with your treating gynecologist/obstetrician. Once you are better, go ahead with your pregnancy plans and precautions as needed for smooth continuation of pregnancy.
Take care.
