Q: repeated miscarriages and faint lines on tests

hello everyone! I have had a couple of miscarriages and one birth. (four miscarriages to be exact.) about 3 months ago I got a period and then felt pregnant so I took a test it was poitive but it took like 2-3 mins for the test to show it. so I went to the doctor. she took a blood test and told me that my levels were showing I was only a week along and to come back. I had apparently had a miscarriage and the hormones were still in my system. Now, I am late for my period. I was suppose to get it on the 16th and I took a test it was really really faint. when it sat for a while you couldn't even see it. then I retested. the line had gotten a little darker it looked but it was still barely visible. It also took about 2 mins for this to show up. I could see it almost right away, but not really until the pink came off the screen. I am worried to go to the doctor because I don't know if I am pregnant or not. Is it possible to have low hormones even after you miss a period? sorry for the long post I just feel like crying!!
Thanks, shaleen

Hi, If the postive turn's up within 10min's then that is fine, Please take another test and go back to the doctor's for more blood as my sister was told she was micarrying as her hcg's were not going up, Mayb going up ten every 4day's so the nurses told her it would miscarry then a week later the nurse said the baby was away but how wrong can the nurses be as my sister has a baby girl now.

thanks, I went to the hospital today. they said my hcg was low. they said that I was either early pregnant or I would miscarry within a week. she prescribed me prenatles, and told me if I didn't get a period in a week to repeat the test and see a doctor. I have low expectations now though....still feel like crying

Low hcg's level's are not bad, Everyone's are different really they are, As long as they are going up and not down, They told my sister she would miscarry but she has a baby gorl now.
