Q: Renal Mass on MRI

I am a 38 year old female. I had an MRI of the Throacic spine last week, and they found a mass in my kidney.

The report reads "a nonenhancing 2.5x2.3 cm mass is noted in the upper pole left kidney. The mass demonstrates hypointense T2 and hyperintense T1 signal suggesting internal proteinaceous debris or hemorrhage"
I am going for a follow up Ultrasound tomorrow.
Does anyone know if this would be considered a complex cyst?? or what the chances are that it could have to be removed?

Thanks in advance.
