Q: Removing Nuvaring during intercourse

I have been on the Nuvaring for two months and sometimes it irritates me and my partner during intercouse. Can I remove it for about 1 hr 4-5 times a week?

If you remove it, you lessen it's effectiveness. If it bothers you that much, you should switch to another form of birth control. I would check first and make sure that it was inserted properly. You should not be able to feel it.
