Hi, .

I use a healing technique that is enormously powerful but is so simple you will be very skeptical it can do anything at all.Four people who have panic attacks have tried it. They both told me it totally aborted their panic attack in a few minutes, if you want to try it, if youre not too skeptical.

Just stare at any part of your body, like any part of the skin on your hand. WHy in the world would that affect us beneficially you ask. Because it evolved that way over human history. What do we do when we have a diseased body part. We look at it Multiply that by 4 million years of evolution and you have the adaptation that happens during evolution that turns a neutral activity like walking into a health benefit. If this sounds too far out for you , I can understand that, but so far we are two for two with panic attack so Ill leave it up to you. If you dont believe in evolutioin then call it the placebo effect if you wish.

One caution though. This evolved away from manmade radiation and manmade radiation like cell or mobile phones, computer and monitor radiation, flat screened tv sets etc will interfere with the bodies response to this I have found so if you try it I would suggest you move far enough away from all radiation.

Other people who have tried this who dont have panic attacks, and myself , all say that they can feel a calming effect from this, beginning within a few seconds of beginning staring.

Here is one persons' experience.

Solara: "I have tried this, and it really works! Actually I have been doing this throughout my life, before I ever heard of this technique. I've always found it very calming to stare at my hand when I feel stressed or tired. Now I am fascinated to understand how and why it actually works. It can't hurt anyone to give this a try. "

So please let me know what happens if you try this.

Thanks Harmony,

If I may ask, you say you were having panic attacks and the staring at , a small spot on your yand, calmed you down, right? So do you mean by that that you did this DURING a panic attack, and that this method totally aborted your panic attack, or just part of it, or what? What percent of it was reduced, and how long a time of staring did it take?

Thanks a lot for replying.

Not for nothing but there is an easy fix to make you not stare at anything...it might take time to do it but you have to keep in mind what a panic attack is all about. I've had panic attacks for 15 years, it comes and goes but after I had my daughter is when it was at it's worst. My problem was my fear of dying. And I still get panicky today, you will always get panicky at some point. I don't think there's any way to completely erase your anxiety once you have it. You have to find something to take your mind off of whatever you're thinking of that's causing you to panic. Everyone's disorder is different and everyone who has panic attacks has them for different reasons. You have to figure out why you are having them in the first place to make them stop. All this staring is going to do is momentarily distract your thoughts. Which helps but it's not permanent.

When I had them a lot it was me thinking in my head that everything was going to kill me. Whether it was a loud plane flying overhead - I would think it was going to crash into my house, or my mind making images of cars crashing into my car while I was out driving. You need a comfort point. My cure was religion, but everyone is different. Just remember if your fear is of dying, remind yourself that everyone dies! Nobody can live forever. It happens at different points in everyone's life but EVERYONE dies. Convince yourself of that...you're just like everyone else in that sense. We all die.

Same thing goes for people who have had someone close die, and now you're wondering why you're panicking. Because you're scared you're next? Or maybe you're like me and had a baby and realized that you actually have some importance in the world now. If I die today will my child grow up how I want her to? These are things and questions we can't look into because we just don't know. And most of it is having a fear of the unknown. We don't know what is going to happen and it scares us half to death. So our bodies put up an adrenaline rush because our minds tell our bodies that something is GOING to kill us, or hurt us (even though nothing is!).

Breathe people. If you need to talk to someone I can help if you'd like. Just write me! I'll try to help you out as much as I can or at least talk to you about what's going on.

Catastrophic Thinking
Thanks Cocozen,

Last Nov-December I had 2 family members die, and a very close friend died of brain cancer, all within a 2 week period. I was working on a temp. job at the time and my house here in Seattle was being sold. A week later I had a panic attack running to catch a ferry to visit some friends. That night my head started twitching or a body part would twitch every time I started falling asleep. Also, would wake up in the middle of night and have a whole body seizure for a second or 2.

I sold my house, and am on unemployment. Have more money than I've ever had from the house sale, but still have Catastrophic thinking. Am seeeing a Psychiatrist who has me on anti-depressants day and night to get rid of the twitching when falling asleep. I think I have sleep myoclonus plus anxiety, but the Psych thinks its all anxiety.

Am very religious/spiritual, and the Sylvia Browne books give me some much needed calming down. Also am reading some books on how to get anxiety/stress under control.

Have everything to live for, but need some advice and reassurance.
