I have suffered with Sciatica for a couple years now and I ran across this CPM machine while surfing the net... I was wondering if anyone has tried it out or if you think it might work for me... I really don't want to have surgery so I am looking for other options...

I am familiar with the CMM machine used for rehab in knee surgeries, but nor for sciatica or spine issues.

When you find advertisements on the web for various products to cure pain, especially back pain and sciatica, it is best to stay clear of them.

They have slick ads, various testimonials and promises that it will work. If it was that easy, the products would be well known, there would be many, many medical studies to show the efficacy of the product and that it really works.

Every doctor around would be telling their patients to use the product and we all know that just doesn't happen.

Scaitica has various causes and it is important to determine the cause before any kind of treatment can be started.

Conservative treatments will be used first and if those don't relieve the pain, then the choice becomes whether to continue living with the pain or try the surgical approach.

Do yo know what is causing your sciatica?

Has surgery been suggested to you?

What type of surgery?

Continued pressure on the sciatic nerve can spread down to further nerves and in the end result in permanent nerve damage.

It is important to attempt to relieve the nerve compression.
