I'm a 24 year old female who JUST 2 weeks ago, got my first migraine. Self- Diagnosis. i know that's what it was, because it lasted for 3 days, and it was unbearable. Well, 2 days after that went away, i got this really intense pain in the back side of my head on the right side. I feel pressure behind my eye, and down that side, ending at my neck. It's almost un-bearable. It went away a couple days ago, but has decided to re-visit me again tonight. (for the past year, i've also had this swishing sound in my left ear, don't know if that has anything to do with it) Anyone know what this could be? Something really serious? Anyone know how to relieve some of this pain before it makes me go crazy? PLEASE, I'm begging you.. HELP ME

Hearing sounds in ear without present source of sound, is known as tinnitus.
This symptoms can be due to many things, even simple one like ear wax, or serious one like benign tumor of a brain nerve.
It can be a symptom of migraine, or it can get more intensive during a migraine attack.
If you noticed that the headache is always at the same side and never shift to the other, or never generalized, or if it gets more intensive with every new attack, and is accompanied with new symptoms like hearing loss, ask for a brain MRI.

For the best answers, visit a neurologist, specialized in treating headaches!

relief
What sometimes helps for me is to drink a big strong cup of coffee and take a long hot shower letting the hot water flow over my brain while tryng to relax.
Do you get naussea as well?
I am diagnosed with migraines so you should try and see a doctor to make sure it isn't something else. I have a medication called Imitrex that works miracles for me as well.
