Q: Regulating periods after pill

Hi, I am a healthy 20 year old. I was on Yaz for almost 2 years before getting off in September. Ever since then my period have gotten later and later. They went from 28 to, 32, to 36, then 51 and now, I'm almost 80 days into my cycle. Is this from coming off of the pill? Is there any way to regulate my period back to "normal"? And is there anything that I should ask my doctor when I see her?
I've taken two HPT's and the last one was very very pale, but negative nonetheless.

You should definitely mention this to your doctor. Usually, the worst effects of going off hormonal birth conrol are seen immediately. The longer you have been off the pill the worse your periods have become. Were you on birth control to regulate your period? Or were you simply using it as birth control?

As far as I know, there is nothing you yourself can do to regulate your period. I think a doctor visit is in order.
Good luck in resolving your problem.

Hi Blueberries, did you get this sorted? I came off Yasmin in January (10months ago now) and I am also having trouble regulating!
Every month I am ranging from 10 days - 3 weeks late Sad I get all the PMS symptoms when AF is due (i.e 28 days) but it doesn't appear however the PMS stays Sad
I have told the Dr and they seemed very unconcerned about it. Just wondered if you had any more luck than I did. Its extremely frustrating!

Ugh... No, I still have not started my period. Been having a daily cramping though... It's October 25th and my last period was in Feb. 23th. Its been nice not having a period, but I am still worried about it.
