regarding paralysis

my father is suffering from paralysis from 15 years.doctor suggested that consult physiotherapyst.beside my house nuga rehabilitation centre is there.my doubt is nuga best(electrical machine/massage bed) is helpful or not?any can paralysis patients gest any improvment from nuga massage bed?please suggest me.....?

Nothing is probably going to reverse a paralysis of 15 years.

However, as I am sure you are aware, patients with paralysis do not have good circulation and are prone to pressure sores.

The physician may have felt the the bed would be a good devise to help with these problems. Albeit expensive.

my doubt is its related to electrical power.is electrical power produce any harm to nervs?

If you are speaking of the electrical stimulation like is used in a TENS unit, no, it does not cause any damage to the nerves. The nerves actually transmit electrical impulses.


Of course, the electrical power that we use in our homes, is more than the body can take. And electrical injuries occur if it is not used properly.

But, to just be around a device that uses electrical power is not harmful.
